By fourteen, she was already working in the industry—training ponies, assisting with lessons, teaching summer camps, and showing sale horses. She later worked as an assistant trainer for Elizabeth Moore, helping young riders build solid foundations in horsemanship and equitation.

From 2012–2018, Kristina expanded her experience beyond teaching, managing a small warmblood breeding farm in Massachusetts and completing a veterinary assistant internship that led to a position at NC State’s Veterinary Hospital.
